Alumi Craft Racers Conner McMullen Sweeps The BlueWater Desert Challenge And Is Crowned Back-To-Back BITD Champion

Parker, AZThe Best In The Desert (BITD) Series completed the 2020 season with its final race, the BlueWater Desert Challenge. Two days of sprint off road racing, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, which saw the Class 1000 division mixing it up and giving it there all. When it was all said and done, Alumi Craft Race Cars took 6 out of the top 7 finishing positions, with #1020 Conner McMullen sweeping the weekend and earning the class championship, his second in a row.

Taking place in Parker, Arizona, along the Colorado River’s desert oasis, the BlueWater Desert Challenge is a racer’s favorite. 16 cars entered and finished 4 laps around the 23-mile course that featured wide-open sandy trails ripping through a varietal of terrain and elevation. McMullen finished out the season in dominating fashion. Just for starters, Conner qualified the #1020 Alumi Craft on top, won the race on Saturday, backed it up with a final victory on Sunday, taking the Sportsman/8100 Class Overall for the weekend, and earned the 2020 BITD Class 1000 Champion.“It’s always a great feeling to finish on top and truly is a blessing. After two days of racing and the scores were tallied for the weekend, other notable top finishers at the BITD BlueWater Desert Challenge include Brent Fox in the #1075 who earned a 2nd place podium, #1047 of Jared Teague with a 4th place finish, the #1036 of Corey Goin in 5th, and Justin Buckey & Bret Jeffers in 6th & 7th.

With Teague’s solid 4th place finish in the finale, the #1047 Alumi Craft Race Car earned 2nd place in the Class 1000 Championship.

The BlueWater Desert Challenge was an amazing two days of racing with our father/son, driver/co-driver pairs. Jared and Jared Teague II on Saturday, then Ryan & Colin McCoskey on Sunday.
