Monster Energy is Coming to the 2023 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400!

Mint 400 officials are pleased to welcome Monster Energy as a sponsor of the 2023 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, returning to Las Vegas on March 8-12, 2023. Monster will have a major presence throughout the event, including the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas and at the start/finish line in Primm. In addition, many of Monster’s top racers will be among the more than 450 entrants going for glory in this year’s Great American Off-Road Race, and fans will be able to see Mint 400 content on Monster’s social media channels throughout the event, including live streams on Facebook and YouTube.

“Few brands can say they’ve done as much for off-road racing, and action sports as a whole, as Monster Energy, and we’re beyond stoked to have them back at the Mint 400,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “Their presence is a defining part of any event experience, and having them at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival and on the midway in Primm will only take our fan experience to the next level. They’ll be a can’t-miss part of both, and their drivers are sure to be favorites to take the win on race day!”

The Monster Energy racer lineup in this year’s Mint 400 is headlined by defending Unlimited Truck runner-up Tim Herbst and defending Limited Race overall winner Dustin Jones, each of whom will look to take home more hardware in 2023. Both Herbst and Jones matched those same positions in the King of the Hammers Desert Challenge presented by Monster Energy, which joins the Mint 400 and California 300 as part of this year’s inaugural Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown.

In Unlimited Truck Spec, Thor, Pierce, and EJ Herbst are all on the entry list, with Thor and Pierce splitting the #219 entry and EJ in the #263 truck. Matt Burroughs, Phil Blurton, Marc Burnett will join Jones in the stacked UTV Pro Turbo field, where they’ll do battle with some of the top racers in the sport. Filling out the UTV lineup are Ethan Groom and Sara Price, who will compete in the UTV Pro NA and Pro Super Stock classes, respectively.

The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt. but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.

This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 8-12 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com, or follow the event on Facebook and Instagram.
