Honda Talon Factory racing welcomes young driver Michael McFayden to their racing team. McFayden joins the team in a driver development role to develop the new Talon race chassis and as the driver of record for The Mint 400. “We are thrilled to have Michael on the team. His poise behind the wheel, technical abilities, and results speak for themselves. This exceptional young man knows how to win races.” says Team Principal Jeff Proctor.
McFayden has notched rookie of the year Honors in the Best In The Desert Series for 2021, 2023 SCORE-International Baja 1000 winner in UTV Pro Turbo and a 2023 Legacy Championship in Pro Turbo UTV in the short time he’s been racing. These results demonstrate his focus and race craft.
Michael McFayden, stated, “It’s an honor to work with team Honda on the development of their new Honda Talon. This new Talon 2p is a solid platform that is light, nimble, and fast. I am excited to get in the driver seat for The Mint 400.”
The Team is looking forward to having McFayden take the green Flag in Vegas on March 9th in the newly developed Talon 2p race chassis.
