How to Watch the The California 300

The California 300 will make its debut in Barstow, CA October 13-15 and will feature a desert cleanup, public poker run, multiple days of prerunning, an off-road festival, and two days of spectacular off-road racing on a fast, technical and punishing 70-mile race course.

There are three primary ways to watch The California 300:
VIEWING RULES:
Stay back 150 feet from the race course at all times. 150 feet.
Never, under any circumstance, cross the race course.
Pick up and pack out your trash. #DontTrashTheDesert

1. The Midway (Accessed via Lenwood Road)
The California 300 Start/Finish Line is located inside the California 300 Midway. The Midway is home to all of our vendors, activations, stage, Tech/Contingency and the exciting action of the start and finish of the race! The Midway has access to viewing areas, bathrooms, shade, food vendors, bars, off-road exhibitors, official merchandise and more.

• Midway Tickets – $20/person, for all three days of racing action.
• Midway Parking Passes – $20/vehicle, for all three days of racing action. Please note, there is no paved parking.

2. Barstow “Main” Viewing/Camping (Accessed via Outlet Center Drive)
Race viewing and camping free of charge.
No purchase necessary – Register to lock in your view & camping spot.
Qualifying will be viewable from Barstow “Main”

3. Hodge Road Viewing/Camping (Accessed via Hodge Road)
Race viewing and camping free of charge.
No purchase necessary – Register to lock in your view & camping spot.
Qualifying will not be viewable from Hodge Road.

PRE-RACE EVENTS:

Poker Run – Saturday, October 8th – We will host the inaugural Poker Run on Saturday, October 8th and it will be the first look at the California 300 race course. Distance = ~70 miles. The Poker Run is open to the general public in off-road cars, trucks and UTV’s. You can register for the poker run on this page.

Desert Clean Up – Saturday, October 8th – The California 300, in partnership with Clean-Dezert, will host an industry wide desert clean-up event on Saturday, October 8th, the weekend preceding the inaugural California 300 desert off-road race. The goal of the event is to unite the off-road community and clean up waste dumped illegally in the Barstow Main area. Pre-registering on this page helps us account for supplies & shirts.

Volunteering – Throughout race week – Want to experience the race in a unique way? We’re currently seeking motivated, passionate people to help with all aspects of the event including pre-race festivities and race operations. About The California 300
The California 300 is a new world-class off-road desert race built to showcase the best off-road racers in the world. The multi-day event launches October 12-16, 2022 in Barstow, CA and will feature a desert cleanup, multiple days of prerunning, a public poker run, an off-road festival, and two days of spectacular off-road racing on a fast, technical and punishing 75-mile race course.
